Not too keen on biking or walking but still but still determined to have a fun overview of Copenhagen? Leave those boring bus tours behind and enjoy a ride on a Segway. This 2-hour tour is perfect for tourists who just arrived in town and want to have a general idea of where the main sights are.
We started the tour in the shop where we got an introductory explanation about how a Segway works. They also have an indoor track which all of us used for a couple of test lapse… It felt like we were in some kind of Moto GP competiton!
After this little warm up the official tour started. While telling us about the city’s history, our lovely guide took us through the must-sees of CPH such as Nyhavn, Amalienborg Palace and the little Marmaid. We had a few stops on the way so there was plenty of time for pictures and refreshments, very important for tourists nowadays 😛
Even though this is more of a traditional tour, the fact that is done on Segway makes it lots of fun! It perfectly suits the more leisurely tourists as you are basically standing and directing the Segway with your body. The tour is also 100% eco-friendly respecting the huge importance that sustainability plays in this country.
So again, I highly recommend it!
